Why wear the Melbourne colours?

Our members include men and women of all ages from beginners to masters, state and national champions.  We've even incubated the occasional Olympian!  But most of all, we just love to row.  We're super proud of our members who have represented at State, National and International level, but we're even more proud of the diversity and contribution of all our members who just love to row.

Whether learning to row from scratch, joining from somewhere else, or returning after some time away, this diversity keeps our club vibrant and a great place to be.  Being a member at Melbourne Rowing Club means a lot more than just rowing. Our members also contribute to the social, recreational, sporting and competitive networks of the club in some of the following ways:

Coaching | Coxing | Leading squads | Driving our trailer to regattas | Serving on the Committee | Organising social functions & fundraisers | Umpiring | Social media | Training camps | Working bees
